India's beloved casual dining brand, KFC, has unveiled its long awaited So Veg So Good campaign encompassing an exciting new range of delicious Vegetarian products, specifically created to please local palates. This innovative menu has been designed bearing in mind high local demand for vegetarian options, and it will enable a whole new and untapped set of customers to bite into the great taste of KFC.
The So Veg So Good campaign is the first of its kind across KFC franchises globally, capitalizing on the strong presence of a vegetarian consumer base in India. The new range brings alive the great taste of across a delectable vegetarian menu, offering product variety at great value. The vegetarian menu launches two new mouth-watering products, Paneer Zinger and Veg Twister, in addition to the hot selling Potato Krisper Burger, Veg Strips, Veg Rockin' Burger and Veg Rice Bowl.
The all new Paneer Zinger is a unique double layered Paneer patty with a crunchy bite outside but , filled with a spicy, creamy sauce inside; topped with lettuce and served in a round, soft, sesame bun. Priced at Rs. 105* only.
The new Veg Twister is a delicious combination of spicy, crunchy mix veg patty , fresh lettuce, crunchy onions, and Thousand Island sauce wrapped in a warm toasted tortilla. Priced at Rs 79* only.

The So Veg So Good range was launched with a TVC introducing Paneer Zinger featuring the uproariously entertaining Vir Das. The teaser advertisement showcases Vir hanging around with his friends at KFC, and indulging in the new Paneer Zinger with immense pleasure. As he revels in the veg burger, he describes the ingredients, sauces, and explosions of flavor as if he's falling in love with each bite. The TVC entails a humoristic spin, leaving the plot open ended because as delighted as Vir is with the mind blowing taste, he's not so fond of the 'naam'. The campaign was preceded by a digital teaser which left audiences guessing who Vir had fallen in love with.
The campaign TVC went on air on April 8th introducing the exciting new Paneer Zinger - so good that, just like Vir, you just can't resist falling in love with it!
The launch will be supported by a robust marketing plan including TV, a very engaging digital campaign and in-store collaterals.
